This week's Featured Stamper is Sarah aka joejaykandi and she has a delightful Gallery filled with inspiration and happy. It seems we both love Gerda Steiner's cute critters. I need a birthday card for my nephew who turned into a bona fide adult last year and this festive card was the perfect inspiration for me: Ho Ho Gift Bags by joejaykandi at Splitcoaststampers
I swapped out her cute gift bags for gift boxes; kept her layout but switched the strip of dp for the gold cord; and exchanged the Christmas theme to a birthday.
I cut the presents out of white card stock and colored them with CP inks. Stenciled the blue box for a little extra something. I didn't have any tissue paper so I cut a jagged edge on white cs to pop out of the top of the box. I really wanted to have confetti popping out too, but I was afraid it would be too much so I restrained myself. I made the box top using the die meant for a ribbon.
Congratulations Sarah. I so enjoyed browsing through your wonderful cards. Thanks for the inspiration and I hope you enjoy all the cards you will inspire this week. I hope everyone is having a great day and that your life is filled with the beautiful gifts of love, friendship and health. TFL

I love it when I see a card for fs, and immediately can say: I know what card she cased. LOL I remembered looking at those gift bags and pondering them, but then found the mitten and knew that was for me. I love that you changed them to fun, bright birthday gifts, Debbie. This is such a clean, crisp, and cute case of Sarah’s card. I love the way you create.

First off love that specialty paper you have featured in the background. It is the perfect modern backdrop for your presents. Love the popped off box top. So clever of you and the colors of blue and green rock!! Fabulous case of Sarah's pretty tissue paper gift bag one.
