This is a blatant CASE of Jen Shults's card on the Taylored Expressions website, available here: https://www.tayloredexpressions.com/field-notes/ Hers is the 2nd card pictured (with the blue flower).
I changed the card size, the flower colors, the inks used (assumed), the sentiment used & the shape and color of the cardstock used for the sentiment, the amount of twine/thread used, and the direction & color of the twine/thread.
WT923: Dimension (the flower head & leaf are popped up on dimensional foam tape and the distressing and thread add dimension)
Cut a white panel to size and score for the card base. Cut another white panel to 4.5 x 6.5 inches. Using TE deckle-edged stencil and blending brush, create Dove Gray border around the outside of the card front. Stamp lined background using Stone Gray (...next time I would stamp it off once first, so that it wasn't so dark). Stamp diamonds using Soft Suede and dots using Crumb Cake. Adhere panel to card front.
On watercolor paper using Jet Black ink, stamp flower and stamp leaf & stem again separately. Using water painter, pick up colors from the ink pad lids and use to "watercolor" the flower portion (Cajun Craze, So Saffron, and Really Rust). Fussy cut flower head and set aside. Using water painter, pick up color from True Thyme ink pad lid and "watercolor" the leaf and stem. Use colored pencils to add highlighting to leaf and stem once dry. Fussy cut stem and leaf separately.
Glue stem directly to the card front. Adhere flower head and leaf using dimensional foam tape. Using distressing tool, rough up the edges of the card front in random places. Tie rust thread once around the card front (attaching inside with 2 pieces of tape). Stamp sentiment on Soft Suede cardstock using Stone Gray ink; trim and distress edges. Adhere sentiment over top portion of thread. TFL!

Very nice and just LOVE your use of the deckle stencil to control the gray blending around the edge of the paper. that is a really cool technique that I have never done. INSPIRING ME! anyway, the whole card is very COOL. enjoyed it T
