This is my card for last Wednesday's Alphabet Challenge letter Y is for Yarn.
I taped yarn onto my acrylic block and stamped with Real Red in a stripe pattern. I then stamped with Shaded Spruce making a plaid. The ink wasn't as dark as I would have liked but it is there softly. I then die cut an oval from the panel and sponged the edge.
I stamped foliage tone on tone on the Shaded Spruce card base. This was the perfect opportunity to use this wonderful gifted sleigh.. A gold glittery sentiment then I wanted to bring the gold glitter up further on the card. First, I tried gold glitter dots punched from the same paper but it didn't really work for me. Then I thought of these small snowflakes, perfect to complete the card.
Thanks for the challenge and thanks for looking!

Catherine,
Love how you added the gold stars and sentiment over the sleigh, so clever and wonderful looking! Great work with stamping with yarn, it's light but very nicely done!
