Hello and TFL
FOLDS FLAT TO MAIL, I promise you! : )
This is the THIRD post of this cute idea ( I think) and you can go to My Gallery to see the others and the embed youtube Video of how to make the Card in a Box, from S U demo Angie Juda. Or go to Chicnscratch on Youtube and Search Card in a Box.
This is an adorable POP UP type card, that folds flat to mail in a A2 envelope.
I LOVED the bouncy Scottie's suspended on the window sheet strip and the snowflakes with movement, too. I did cut my window sheet strips just a little thinner for the snowflakes so they had more movement in them.
The tag makes a fun card to send SEPARATELY in it's own envelope, but matching the fun pop up card
These are all (all 4 shown on my gallery, all different for kids ages) going to be mailed to Italy to my Navy family stationed there. it will be fun surprise for each of them to get TWO card treats for the holiday.
this particular one is for the parents, more elevated than the other Christmas woodland animals (see my gallery).
I used the last of this very OLD S U Christmas paper that has red/gold foil recipes and advertisement on one side and Christmas stories / poems printed on the other. FUN to use up OLD DSP.
even the underside of the flaps have the S U DSP added to them so when it's folded up you get all kinds of the holiday b/w graphics on that DSP.
I did do a bit of sponging on the Scottie pups in black and also sponged the edges of the type print of the Night before the Night before Christmas story, on the DSP. the kids will love reading that, too.
ENJOY the holidays, have fun, make fun, don't stress! : )
