This was done jump started by this sweet Santa mouse card in Jessica's gallery seen here. I really did only look at the Christmas cards closely because, that is what I am in the mood to do. I love on her card that the background looks like fabric and the ribbon treatment and I decided to start poking through "Santa" type stamps and water colored this. I forgot this die would cut the center out from the frame and because, you cannot see behind the X stitched frame part I got it off centered a little oops. and it has pretty much taken me all week to finish because, the lack of light is hard on my eyes, shot this one after dark tonight and the colors may be a little "off". Jessica, I hope you like this and are enjoying your week. Thanks for this challenge Nancy & tfl.

Love the image and your fab details, Stacy, especially the die cut border that matches the pattern in the background panels and the little tied on joy tag. I am really only in the mood for Christmas cards too. Hugz

Beautifully painted and I like how the wash extends. I also am loving your x-cut frame and how it matches your background paper. This has a retro feel with the checkerboard. I love it!

Super cute and super fun. Love your "country" images and this is no exception. Great watercoloring. That bg die is fabulous and looks great behind these Santas. I really like how the image looks off-center. I thought you did it on purpose til I read your write-up. That bit of ribbon is the perfect way to wrap up this cutie. Wonderful card.
