This was done playing along with this week's water coloring tutorial by Crystal Beshara Artist Channel on realistic leaves. I do have a photo heavy blog post seen here from a couple weekends ago when I gave this a whirl. we had a road trip when would normally be paint a sample this last weekend and I did find some other leaves while gone to try next. ( this is my second leaf the first is next to it in the sketchbook and has some struggles) I feel like a learned some cool things and so, If you'd like to play along with us you can find this challenge here. tfl.

You did a marvelous job of painting that leaf - Youi really captured the essence of you sample leaf ( BTW - love the looks of those 2 red ones at the end of your blog. Are you going to paint those, too?)
