Diane has some lovely, warm fall colors for us this week and gold is for dessert.
I embossed the floral images in gold on watercolor paper and water colored them before die cutting. While I intended to bring a little of the neutral Merry Merlot into this mix I accidentally used concentrated Cajun Craze (refill on the inside cover of my ink pad) instead and it did the job all by itself.
The card base has Mossy Meadow blended from dark to light. I actually thought I would make this into a portrait oriented card but the greeting told me it wanted to be landscape!
Thanks for taking a peek. I hope you can play along!

How beautiful!!! I really thought we would end up using the same set this week but we didn't - - I love your choice!! I love that you used just a part of that large image - so so pretty and the background really sets off your beautiful gold embossing!

What a beauty, Chris! The contrast of lights and darks on this card is amazing! I love the die cut leaf design and the painted flowers. The blended card base looks sensational behind the cut-out area!

Gorgeous! Love the blended card base especially with the die-cut background to reveal it. The gold embossing and coloring on the elements looks beautiful. Love that ribbon! Very nicely done with the challenge colors. Thanks!
