A big congrats to Yoo-Rah, the newest Featured Stamper (FS820)! She has wonderful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the brayered background, most of the colors & the silhouette tree. I used different images, embossed the image, and made mine a Halloween card.
For my spooky crow scene, I dug out a brayered bg I made ages ago, using a rainbow ink pad w/ a silver Marvy metallic marker. After brayering the color, I dotted the silver marker onto the rubber brayer, spritzed it water then rolled over some areas. A little hard to see here but in person, it has a silvery glow in areas. The all over bg stamp of the crows in the trees was stamped w/ black & heat embossed w/ black powder. I also embossed the little greeting strip & added it to a shaped tag cut out of some of the same bg.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog: The Write Stuff

Well this fiendishly fun card is perfect for Halloween. I adore the colors in the bg and the vibrancy of them. I can barely make out the silver but I can imagine how great that looks and a technique I definitely want to try. That crow tree stamp is awesome and embossing it in black really adds to it's dramatic impact and Halloween flair. Fabulous card.

That background is amazing, Julie. Great colors and the metalic is a good touch. Love the image too. Spooky and beautiful case. Hugz

Love this case of Yoo-Rah's tree, and all those crows are just so spooky for Halloween!
