Shelly, this is full of cool images! Love how you did it - especially the bottom.
I always thought it was the windy city because it was windy. When I went the last few times and stayed downtown, it was super windy between the buildings. LOL! Fun stuff and fun card. Hugz

And that worlds fair was written about in Death in the White City....didn't know about prairie state. Of course both of our states were considered to be in the west. Wonderful collage of Illinois, Lincoln was a slam dunk.

I didn't know that it was also known as the Land of Lincoln. I did know why it was the windy city. I recently read The Devil in the White City, but I found it tough going to finish it! Love your prairie scene.
