Jeanne is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she is using my favorite SU color, Bermuda Bay! She has paired it with Highland Heather and Parakeet Party to create such a pretty palette for us to play with. Dessert is to add an embellishment. I added three--does that mean I get a triple serving of dessert? LOL!
I used a stamp and die set from a recent online class. I started by stamping the image with clear embossing ink and heat embossing with gold powder. By using the four stencils in order, coloring these flowers and leaves was quick and easy. I used two shades of green for some color variation in the leaves, and tried to vary the Bermuda Bay and Highland Heather by using different amounts of pressure on the blending brushes.
I sponged a bit of Parakeet Party ink on the edges of the design layer and mounted on a base of Parakeet Party. Three decorative dots finish it off.
Please come join us in this challenge and post your creation in the gallery for us to admire!

Beautiful image. I like how the foliage and flowers are behind the frame and also coming around to the front. Wonderful use of the challenge colors. I like Bermuda Bay, too. Lovely card. Thinking of you at this time! Hugs.
