Ways To Use It Challenge - WT914 - Layers - September 15, 2022
For the layered stamping challenge, I used a two-step butterfly set. I stamped the solid butterfly base in a lighter color and then stamped the dotted line detail for the wings using a coordinating darker color.
I needed two Thank You cards to send out so I made two of the exact same design, using two different color combinations - a blue combination and a coral combination.
I embossed the black cardstock piece with tiny dots to match the dotted line detail of the wings. I attached this to the card base leaving a white border all the way around.
I die cut the large word sentiment in white and then arranged the butterflies in different positions around the sentiment. As a final touch, I added a black jewel in the center of each butterfly.

Oh, I really like that butterfly two-step stamp. Isn't it fun to try the same thing in different colors? I think both work really well with the bold black and white.
