Today, I realized my sponges are cooler tools than I ever realized (check out TLC916). I did a lazy panel - tried for the plaid background but my sponge was running out of ink and I didn't feel like reinking so you can't see it that well. I still love the result. Thanks for sharing Dee's techniques along with the Frugal Crafter's, Jean. I feel smarter.
CAS707- back to school (thanks, Misti). I don't have a ton of back to school images so I went with a encouragement card with rulers and a positive crayon/life sentiment. I will probably use this to provide a mid year donation to one of the grandsons' teachers for classroom needs.
Happy Monday!

Great ideas, Nancy....I'm so glad you feel smarter. Something tells me you are very smart. I love that background, how clever to combine today's challenges. You are the bomb.

Nancy, that bg is fabulous! I love the stamping as well. My DH, the mathematician, would like that stamp! The saying is wonderful all by itself, but better with your colors.

A great design covering both challenges Nancy! love your background colors and fun stampings and that sentiment is so fun! Crayons are always a part of back to school supplies - I remember how I would hate it if one broke - I didn't want to use it after that.... (!)
