I've seen some stamping on craft paper/Crumb Cake somewhere this past week and thought I would give it a try with the pretty fall colors LeAnn has chosen for us this week.
Dye ink on its own will soak into the paper and not be that vibrant. Since I have mostly dye inks I had to mix them with a little white craft ink to get them to "sit" on top of my paper better. I usually mix them together using a big acrylic block for my palette. I applied them to the stamp with a sponge dauber, blending this weeks colors on the maple leaf and seeds.
The greeting and fussy cut seedlings are stamped with the baby wipe technique. Though probably more realistic for the seeds you can see how mixing it with the craft ink makes it brighter so it shows up better.
What will you stamp?

True confessions--I thought you'd taken the "easy route" for this card by using printed DS paper. Just wow! Your leaf layer is so professional and the colors are so dreamy and beautiful. Chris, you always come up with such great designs, and yet another way to use white craft ink. I am in love with this card!

This is gorgeous and your technique for stamping the colors on kraft cardstock resulted in wonderful, soft looking leaves and seeds. I love the font on the greeting, as well, it's beautiful.

So pretty. The Kraft softens the colors so beautifully and mixing white the white was brilliant. Your fussy cutting is excellent. I have never seen maple seeds used on a card before - very smart! I have to give Kraft cardstock a try. FAVED.
Thanks for selecting my card last week as the favorite.

The kraft cs certainly gives these colors a very different look. You chose a beautiful leafy set to try this with, Chris. Thanks for the explanation. Kudos to you~
