Iâve had a partially used Basic Grey 6x6 pad forever, it was from the Out of Print collection and I have used up my favorite papers long ago. I decided to just buckle down and use up as much of the rest as I can stand!
Itâs time to make birthday cards for next monthâs senior mailing list so I decided to make a batch and CASE this card I found on Pinterest:
I started with a 6 pack of Dollar Tree Hallmark thank you cards, love the ones with smaller designs and white edges! I cut some light brown cardstock a little smaller than the card front. I cut a 1 once strip from each page remaining in the pad, then cut each strip into 1 and 1.5 inch pieces. I mixed and matched til I found a group I liked, then glued all but lower right piece onto the brown cardstock. I punched a heart from one of the pages and glued to upper left square. I wrapped brown stripe baker twine several times around the brown cardstock piece and tied a bow. I mounted the lower right piece with foam tape for dimensional interest, and used foam tape to attach the brown cardstock piece to the card front. I made 6 cards assembly-line fashion with this design!
USEIT2022: working on that Basic Grey pad, also the baker twine is an older item in my stash. Sentiment stamp set is new this year.
