Thanks Terry for the adorable images for the July March to the Beat image swap. So cute and fun to play with! I popped up my bee and added glitter to wings.
I was curious to the origin of the "bee's knees" and here are some theories I found:
1. A reference to the fact that bees carry pollen in sacks on their knees, and that the expression therefore alludes to this concentrated goodness.
2. A 1920s silly animal-related expression meaning 'an outstanding person or thing'. Others were cat's pajamas, cat's meow, but also gnat's elbow, monkey's eyebrows, flea's eyebrows, and the canary's tusks. Say what??

I find it fascinating knowing where terminology and phrases come from and how they change. Adorable images and your fun folds make them fun to display.
