Such a fun kit! Baking and Christmas - two of my favorite things! Tracie - thank you for a wonderful kit! Next, a big thank you to Jaded Blossoms for allowing Tracie to use the Mrs. Claus image for this kit.
I colored Mrs. Claus with my Sharpie fine point pens and used a colored pencil for her face and hand. The DP was so fun, I had to use some of each sheet Tracie sent.
We were asked to also post our favorite Christmas cookie recipe so here goes.......
RASPBERRY THUMBPRINT COOKIES
1 pouch (1lb. 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 egg
3 TBS. all-purpose flour
1/3 cup seedless raspberry jam
1 cup white vanilla baking chips
1/8 tsp. almond extract
Heat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, stir cookie mix, butter, egg and flour until dough forms. Chill dough 1 hour before baking.
Roll dough into 3/4" balls; place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Using thumb or handle of wooden spoon, make indentation in center of each cookie. Spoon about 1/4 teaspoon jam into each indentation.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 5 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
In small microwavable bowl, microwave baking chips and almond extract on High 1 to 2 minutes, stirring frequently, until chips are melted. Stir until smooth. Spoon melted chips into small resealable plastic bag; cut small hole in corner of bag. Squeeze bag gently to drizzle melted chips over cookies. Makes about 35 cookies.

Lorraine what a cute card. I love the colors you chose to color Mrs Santa. Your layout is wonderful and using a little of each of the papers outstanding. Great card for the challenge and your cookies sound amazing. Can't wait to try them.

Lorraine, you really outdid yourself with the coloring and innovative layout! I like the sentiment in that pretty brown, it looks like it's a wooden plaque. I also like how you combined the ribbons-nice touch!
