Thanks for a fun, unique challenge Polly: Be a Kid!
I stamped my insects on the stamp & scratch paper using pigment ink, then embossing. I carefully scratched off the area inside the stamping to reveal the colors. Then, I used a stencil to pierce my paper and sewed the paisley swirl accent with gold and black threads. I added 3 French knots and finished it off by writing "Hello."
My gramma taught me how to embroider a long time ago and I had bought the old Stamp & Scratch paper for my granddaughters at a thrift sale. (It was dated 1999 and it still worked fine!) Such fun!

Beautiful! This is so creative with your kid supplies...One of the things I had considered was doing something mimicking sewing cards....you did it....and i love it! And I guess I'm the only one around here without the scratch paper...lol.
