A red side fold card with a dry embossed white layer on top. 2 die-cut layers, one in red and one smaller in white with my stamping placed on the top. The white layer was lightly sponged in red and green to mimic a watermelon. I'm trying to teach myself to "ink". The watermelon was one wedge and I stamped the 1st one and then masked it and stamped the 2nd slice of melon. This was the first for me! I was pleased with the outcome, although this was fairly simple to mask. The challenge will be something more difficult next time. This one was for the younger of the 2 nieces that cart around "FLAT BETTY". I'm still trying to figure out to share my many travels with my nieces here on this site...

Great use of that old EF (one of favorites still). Great watermelon slices too. Fab and fun! Hugz to you, Betty.

Fabulous inking and masking, Betty. I have that embossing folder, too. It is great for birthdays. Love your fun sentiment and bet your wonderful niece will, also.

Wonderful punny, summertime birthday card, Betty, Great bg embossing with your juicy watermelon slices. Really like how you shaded your sentiment circle in watermelon colors too.
