Thank you, Lisa for the Colored Card Base prompt for the Clean and Simple Challenge today. It was easy with this gorgeous inky DP from Craft Consortium. So beautiful.
My ethereal woman was stamped onto mixed media paper and embossed with super fine detail EP. I used Copics and a few Metallic Gelatos to color her flowing gown. Cracked Glass Glaze was applied to her timepiece to build some dimension. The sentiment from Technique Junkies 'All Stars' was inked direct to paper. The tiny gold stars (Rubber Moon) were stamped in gold in a random pattern along the sentiment. And then I used an unknown die label to draw the eye to the sentiment.
'We are all stars. We just shine at different times.'
I did veer just a wee bit. I decided to ground her feet. Hence the narrow strip of the white base card. The Craft Consortium patterns are so very interesting. Check them out. And thank you for stopping by.

YOur cards always speak to me. You always add the most glorious words, and techniques (cracked glass) as well. This literally blows my sox off, mf! WOW!

That bg is the coolest...at first I thought it was a mixture of alcohol inks..that's with it looks like. It could also be some sort of slab of marble. Anyway it's an amazing way to show off your AD woman. Fabulous details..the watch, the stars, the sentiment....Love this...

I have this amazing woman stamp and applaud the amazing woman who created this well deserved out of the box home for her. How can one not scroll back again and again? Love you, Neighbor.
