Last weekâs sketch had me stumped for a while, because I really wanted to incorporate the zigzag implied in the design but was not sure how to do it. Finally I saw this cool design using the Tailored Tag punch and decided to adapt it for the sketch (it was somewhere in Pinterest, donât have the link). I absolutely love the yellow and gray combo from this weeks color challenge and decided to use those colors to make the card up.
I made a card base from yellow textured cardstock and cut some cloudy gray cardstock 1/4 inch smaller, then cut a white cardstock layer 1/8 inch smaller than the gray layer and glued together. I used the punch to punch three shapes from darker and lighter gray designs from the Ella & Viv collection, and cut one yellow piece from some plain yellow paper. I arranged on the card and glued down, and stamped the sentiment on the yellow tag. My design ended up being a little off center so I added a strip of gold glitter washi along the left edge, and scattered some gold and silver sequins around the card front before attaching it with foam tape to the yellow card.
USEIT2022: using some more of the recent Ella & Viv paper, and using sequins and washi from my much older supplies.
