I combined the color scheme of the pillows with the pineapple theme, and threw in a very old sketch challenge from my personal challenge to go back and make a card from every sketch in the archive. I had some cardstock scraps in the aqua and green colors from some previous recent cards and I used rectangle die's to cut a larger aqua panel and a smaller green one and attached to a white card. The pineapple came from a set of Dollar Tree summer coasters made of thick felt. They came in a pack of four, tied with a green ribbon that I had to cut to take the coasters apart. But I liked how it looked on the pineapple and I glued the ends back together on the one pineapple I used here. I also trimmed off a loop it had at the top for some reason. I used plenty of Tombow two way glue to attach the pineapple to the green cardstock and pressed for a few minutes under a book to make sure the glue took. Then I stamped the sentiment in Wild Wasabi ink on a white cardstock scrap, cut it out, and glued to the card. I finished with some s,Allen and larger sparkly bling stickers. I love these colors and I'm also kinda craving pineapple now! Or maybe just a cocktail with pineapple juice in itâe¦
USEIT2022: paper scraps! Also busted into the package of very recently acquired pineapple coastersâe"Now I just have to remember to use the rest!
