I have been in a tropical mood and had been wanting to make something like this. I got an advertisement in the mail that was similar to this. It was perfect for inspiration.
I ink blended the BG first in Pixie and Seaside. Then I cut a circle out of a window sheet and taped that down. Then, I added my stripe stencil on top of the circle mask allowing for a bigger gap at the top. I blended Pixie and Blueberry with both of those in place. Hope that makes sense.
I always think of these colors in the summertime b/c I have fond memories of bubblegum/cotton candy popsicles, ice cream and skies.
Your card jumped out at me, bringing back memories of 1980's brand logos/images. I love the color blending and thanks for sharing how you made the striped circle. Perfect background for the tree silhouette

Fabulous! Love the die-cuts on this beauty! The design is so creative, the sky, and the silhouette trees are fantastic. The inking in BG is amazing...
