Makes sense that Jen would ask us for numbers today...she's a numbers gal, being an actuary. Happy birthday, Jen! Celebrate all month! All of my stamps except for the sentiment and sailboat have numbers.
I used a stash gel print from a MIX a little while ago. I'll have to go back and figure out which one. It was a Lydia video where you put on acrylic paint, I think in blobs, gently fold the gel plate in half and then print. You get a nifty horizon where the paint goes away at the folded point. I used this because of yesterday's FS....wow, what a super gallery of digital scrapbook pages. It was easy to be inspired and this is what I chose: LIVE YOUR DREAM by wombat146 at Splitcoaststampers
I kept her look of a scene and some collage type stamps. I was especially attracted to this one because of the date in the middle....June 24, which is my son Joe's birthday. I feel like this isn't quite done, hard to know when to stop and I was sure I had a date stamp that I could stamp June 24 but couldn't find it at the moment.
A wombat is a quadrupedal marsupial native to Australia including Tasmania. They are muscular and weigh about 50 lbs or so. I'm reading a book by Bill Bryson about Australia (love his books, highly recommend them) called In a Sunburned Country. So interesting and I would guess a wombat will be mentioned at some point. Awesome choice, Ardyth and happy 70th, Ona. I'm right behind you, will be 70 in August. I went to a 70th birthday party yesterday for my very good friend from college. I love the number 70...graduated in 1970 and the Queen has reigned for 70 years. Amazing!

Beautiful. Love the gel print and you're right about the neat affect from that technique. Your collage stamping is lovely and I enjoyed looking at all the elements and I love that you incorporated some music here. Wonderful card.
Loved reading your write up and the info on wombats. So fun. But now that I see 70 is a big number in your life, you just might need to go another Jen challenge project using that number too.

What a brilliant card! Love it!! and I laughed out loud when I read the bit about wombats! My username is actually taken from an old address, we used to live at 146 Wombat Creek Road .......... as you can guess it was a rural property but the funny thing was that there have never been any wombats in that area as they prefer the cooler climates found down south (including Tassie) and this property was located in the sub-tropical climate of northern New South Wales, so never did find out how it came to be named that!
Thank you for your birthday wishes as well, very kind of you! Early 70th birthday wishes to you as well for August, hope it's a good one!

Jean, this is such a creative case of Ona's layout. You captured the theme perfectly. I love every image you used to create your collage and the background colors are beautiful.

Love all the different ways you added numbers for this challenge, Jean! I am still celebrating my birthday, so your card (with that fabulous background!) was right on time!
