VINTAGE - so far out of my wheelhouse that even if I was born in the 1700's, I'd struggle with this. Still, I am not one to give up on a challenge easily.
I finally came across an old collage stamp that had a vintage look - stamped it on beige parchment and colored with prismacolor pencils. I had also come across a scalloped oval frame (cookies) gifted to me by a teapotter so die cut my collage to fit into that. The beige on creme got kind of lost so sponged around my collage first with wilted violet and then Frayed burlap which gave a soft MAUVE-elous color and a nice match to the butcher block DSP I had inherited YEARS ago.
I stamped the Faithful letter on my card base in Peeled paint, overlaid that with the butcher block DSP and a piece of moss washi. Tucked in bits of lace (more cookies) and finished with my framed collage adhered with mounting foam.

This is lovely Linda! You've got a great collage stamped image and some wonderful dp. I love how you cut out part of the paper to overlap on the script (or is it cut out or part of the paper?). Extra extra points for you today. Well done...have more confidence in your artistic abilities mf.

This is so pretty. Script always makes me think vintage, as does the fancy oval frame. Love how you got violet into several elements and tie everything together.

Well, it may have taken you on a journey of of your comfort zone but it sure doesn't look like it. Collage stamps are always great for a vintage look, but it's that amazing DP laid over the stamped letter which create a fabulous backdrop for it. Some great fussy-cutting and the little out-of-the-box butterfly on the collage panel is perfect.
