Today's sketch sent me looking through my stamps to find something round that would work. I found this old wood block wheel and I was off and running (sailing?). I stamped the middle wheel first, then masked to stamp the other two to overlap. The sentiment is one stamp, so I masked the words to stamp each separately, cut into flags, added twine and popped up on foam mounts. I added copper colored punched holes to the wheels as a last minute thought, but not sure I like them. My father was a lifelong sailor; one of my favorite pictures of him is where he is at the helm of his sailboat with a look of pure happiness on his face. Sadly, he is not with us anymore, but I made this in his honor.
