This is a fun technique and I’d never heard of it before this challenge but then I never had Pearl Ex until Linda/Studbo surprised me with a gift. The kids at Keiki and the soldiers are going to see some sparkle now!
Here are the directions from Pink Fish:
First, use the clear embossing powder and emboss the image of your choice.
Next, while the image is still warm (you can zap it again to reheat it if necessary), sprinkle PearlEx over top. Tap off any excess and heat again with heat tool. Once the image is cooled use a cotton ball, paintbrush or tissue to gently brush away any PearlEx that has not been embossed. That's it!
One tip: The clear embossing powder will be "gooey" when it is warm. If you try to use a cotton ball or paint brush to apply the PearlEx it will make a mess! Just sprinkling it on works best.
