I'm not sure that I consider this MIXed enough to tag for the MIX challenge, as most of the inks are DOX. I'm sure there's more going on on the sentiment, which was cut from a piece of serendipity background, and the leaves and punched centre of the flower are from a tomato paste tube, so that's recycling. I was originally going to put the flowers on a sanded pencil background, which would definitely have qualified as more than one medium. But instead I went with this more muted background, which was done by embossing the stencil with whatever ink remained on it after I had used it to stencil another piece of card. Because it was the plastic part of the stencil that transferred ink to the card during the embossing process, I was then able to sponge all the open areas lightly. The flowers were cut from an old hymnbook and sponged. I added a few sequins to finish it off.

Love it! The flower petals cut from the old hymnal are a great touch as is the piece of the tomato paste tube. Very creative and a fun process to read about. TFS!
