This card is for the Alpha challenge S = sunshine.
I had sitting on my desk a stencil I was intending to use for this challenge. I have used this stencil a lot in my cardmaking. After lots of finger tapping I decided to pick a panel out of my stash that I had made a long time ago. I do not even know how I made it but it is on watercolour cs and I am assuming I simply plonked paints on to it.
The colours reminded me of the ocean and so I decided to plonk my stencil on top and swipe some orange and yellow inks through to give the effect of the setting sun. My excuse and I am sticking to it.
Not getting quite the effect I wanted, I added some watercolours and using a baby wipe to give a different effect.
Stamped and die cut my sentiment and then doodled a border. Sometimes a card comes together very quickly without overthinking and this is what happened with this one. I love to end up with a card I am happy with and from which began with a simple BG panel.
TFL. Happy day

Great way to keep going with a panel until you were happy. The end result is very cool and something to be proud of. Love the sentiment with it too. Even the border is cool. Hugz

Very artsy and lovely, Jayne. And how wonderful to use a panel from your stash too! Love the addition of your oranges and yellows to give this effect of a sun setting over water. Pretty!
