If you saw my YouTube video this week, you know where this idea came from. I used the curved edge of the Simple Hill 2 mask and ink blending to create this wispy, layered look. It reminds me a little of alcohol inks, but it's so easy to control!
I heat embossed a Waffle Flower sentiment on vellum and backed it with 3 layers of white circles that were one size smaller so that you can still see the vellum around the edge. I finished with a scattering of tiny gold star sequins.

Ardyth, this is such a beautiful birthday card. I love the background you created for the birthday sentiment layer. The stars are such a perfect embellishment.

Incredibly beautiful background and I also LOVE how you backed the vellum with cardstock, great way to deal with the perennial problem of adhesive behind vellum!
Ardyth, your card is so beautiful and vibrant! The pastel rainbow colors really add to a celebratory mood. Thank you so much for honoring me with your beautiful card! Love it!

I am absolutely enthralled with that wavy bg layer. I'm headed off to your YouTube channel as soon as I finish commenting so I can learn how to do this. I just love this.
