This card is for the Teapot Challenge with a Pick Your Squares theme (card elements chosen from a tic-tac-toe board).
The recipients this week are a father and daughter who lost their wife/mother earlier this year. I made cards for both recipients - this is the card going out to the husband/father. I kept the color palette more on the neutral side and thought he might like the woodland theme.
From the tic-tac-toe board, I selected top-across, which means I had to use the following three elements on my card: circle, sentiment, tree.
I used a circle trio die to make "windows" for my images, I used a sentiment stamp under the images, and I used a tree image to go along with the beavers and their logs.

The woodland theme is lovely - I like the beavers heading to work with their lumber. We don't have them here in Ireland, but I know they have reintroduced them in a couple of places in England and Scotland. I'd love to see them in real life. Muscrats is the closest I've got.
