Free 4 All to honor Moms and Dads
Featured Stamper to honor Nancy aka Imastamping
The only parent still with us is my sweet & loving Mother-in-Law. This one will be for her. She gives me her yarn scraps from her crocheting; so I included a piece on the side. It's rougher than most of the yarn and more like a thicker twine. The color is a better match IRL.
I so enjoyed Nancy's gallery and keep looking & looking. I loved this one and Nancy's creative layout, the use of the green and the two-step stamping.
First, I selected a different pattern in the same DSP pack. I stamped the outline image in Misty Moonlight. I decided to add color from the paper with stamping the flowers in Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron on the leaves. I sponged more green over the stems. I die-cut the DSP with scalloped edges. Sponged the main panel to stand out on the DSP without adding another layer. Applied Wink of Stella to flowers and an enamel dot for the flower center.
My changes: different flowers, colors, layout, added Mother's Day sentiment, layout but did keep some scallops.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful cards with us, Nancy and for inspiring mine today!

This is fabulous, Diane. I love the hand-penned paper cut with that scallop frame and you coordinated the floral coloring so beautifully with the dp. Adding that yarn for the personal touch is so sweet. I am sure your MIL will love and appreciate this wonderful gift.

So pretty, Diane. I have not used this piece yet in the pack and it looks great against the blue background. Your mil is sure to love this with her added yarn. Sweet!

Gorgeous! The framing is beautiful. The fantastic double-stamped flowers and the die-cut DP are beautiful. The yarn tie/bow is an excellent detail...
