Ah yes. The humble outhouse. When I was quite young my father sang with a group of his friends at lots of local events. One of their 'hits' was "Don't Let Them Tear That Little Brown Building Down". Your card took me back to my youth - we had one of those little brown buildings out back of the house.
It was not so long ago that I went tripping through the snow
Out to that house behind my old hound dog
Where I would sit me down to rest like a snowbird on his nest
And I'd read that Sears and Roebuck catalog
Oh I would hum a happy tune peeping through the quarter moon
As my daddy's kin had done so much before
It was in that quiet spot daily cares could be forgot
And it gave the same relief to rich and poor

So funny, Anne, and for any of us who have ever had to use an out house you brought back some memories for me of Brownie camp in the late 1950s.

HILARIOUS, Anne! I've a friend who would LOVE this card...she would giggle and cackle every time she took at pee! She'd bring me right along with her! Love the rustic out-house!
