I made these cards today and then realized they fit todayâs CAS challenge, so Iâm submitting. I made a set of 8 identical cards for the cards to seniors project I participate in.
The base card is a printed card in an 8 pack from Dollar Tree that is blank inside. I used a rectangle die to cut plain light green cardstock and then dry embossed. I cut the cake piece from white cardstock, and the icing and candle pieces from scraps. I glued the cake pieces together and glued onto the green background piece, which I attached to the card front with foam tape.
I was originally going to stamp a small birthday sentiment on the white part of the bottom cake layer, but I was so efficiently assembly-line making these cards that I had put them all together before I remembered that part, and it was too risky to try to stamp on the card at that point, so I stamped a larger sentiment inside the cards, and inadvertently qualified these for todayâs challenge!
USEIT2022 - paper scraps, new die set, and an embossing folder I acquired last year but have barely used yet.

So pretty and I love the icing on your cake using scraps.
