I love music. I originally got into card-making in a bigger way after my mother died and music was hard for me, it took a long time to get back into it again.
Stamped the Symphony image, sponged the background , spattered with gold Twinkling H2Os and spotlighted the dragonfly.
Stamped the base with the flourishes and with a crackle stamp, and then popped up the main panel with a strip of lace along each edge.
In the challenge thread I'll link the inside. I had gessoed a piece of music (Molly Malone, for an Irish vibe) and sprinkled it with Brushoes, but it was far too bright and busy to work with the wheel stamp. So I put it on the inside with a sentiment.

Beautiful!! I love that stamp...wow it is so cool and the way you spotlighted the dragonfly is very creative and artistic. Love the lace border, too. Music has been a big part of my life, too....all kinds and carried on through generations in our family.

I have always loved that particular piece of music, Ode to Joy, and I think your card certainly embraces that. I agree with Polly, that is a very cool and beautiful stamp. The spotlighting looks fab. Love love love the inside with the music score and brushes and that wonderful quote. Music is such an integral part of all our lives. I think sometimes we don't even hear it, but it's there in the background. I am sorry you no longer have your mother with you, but I am glad to read that you have been able to embrace music again. I'm sure this card will bring much joy to Berniece. Wonderful card. Hugs.

Great image Sabrina. I love music too. It is so hard for me not seeing my son continue to play but alas I am holding out hope that someday he will pick his trumpet back up again. For now I just listen to the 3 recorded pieces he uploaded to YouTube for me.
