Kathy has a wonderful gallery of cards and I chose her Trees on a Hill card. I die cut my trees, instead of stamping and put distress inks evergreen bough and pine needles on a piece of acetate, misted it with water then dipped my die cut trees into it, to give them some color. The BG sky was inked with tumbled glass, using a blending brush, the trees attached and the die cut snowbank was added in the foreground. I stamped the sentiment with evergreen bough. Here's her pretty card that inspired me.

Sue, your card is a great case! Love the die cut trees and the rolling hill of snow (we have LOTS of snow. I could send you some!).

I thought about casing the same card from Kathy's gallery today. I love the way you colored the die cut evergreens; so much variation in shades! Love the stitched snowbanks, as well.

So beautiful. I love the soft look you created with the die cuts and ink smooshing and blending. You totally captured the inspiration card but your die cut trees and snowbanks give it a much different feel. Beautiful card,
