I haven't seen one of my work colleagues since last July because we are in different bubbles, so it's only if I'm covering the other team leader for holidays that I have seen her over the last two years. But we keep in touch, and I always send birthday cards to her daughters. So I messaged the other day to ask what the February birthday girl was into, now that she's a teen. Crystals was the answer, so I pulled out a magazine freebie. I found a bamboo forest gel print in my stash, I sponged around the top to darken it into more of a night sky. I used alcohol inks on mineral paper to see how it went. Perhaps glossy paper would have given a more "crystal" finish, but the thin paper sure was easy to fussy-cut and I like the almost vellum-like finish. The hare/rabbit is actually metallic silver. The grassy borders were cut from a brayered-off scrap. I used some chunky ep and edged it with gold Stickles. Die-cut the sentiment from gold mirror card and angled it across.
