I love today's colors, but had to use the closest ones I have. My card was totally inspired by Penni's gorgeous card from last week. I stamped the butterflies with versamark, embossed with detail white powder, then stamped the leaves with mint julep and blended on distress inks, worn lipstick and cracked pistachio. I added a bit of french script, in crumb cake, in the corners. The piece was layered on pink pirouette, white and then placed on the mint julep card base, that I'd embossed with the hearts on a string embossing folder. Here's Penni's beautiful card from last week.

Sue this is beautiful... The heat resist technique is such a gorgeous technique! You've created a great interpretation of Penni's design using this week's colors! I love it all and so happy you shared it with us!

Oh yes, I had Penni's card faved! And yours is every bit as beautiful! I love that butterfly image and emboss resist is probably my all-time favorite technique. The leafy springs coming in from the sides are so pretty as is the touch of French Script. You subbed the colors perfectly!
