Lyn gave us an interesting technique to use our craft pad to paint on colored cardstock. I have done this with acrylic paint, but not the ink. Skipped the one step of embossing with the white. Last week our watercolor challenge was about compound leaves. Once you learn the stroke they can be done with any medium. Taking the craft pad and brush painted the first coat with the white pigment ink. Let it dry and then painted with the watercolors. Added a frame aound with a gel pen and added splatters. Fun technique. TFL

Just stunning, Linda. I love every inch of your card. It all looks great on the black linen paper.

Hi Linda......Hope all is well. I find it interesting how many watercolor techniques you have learned during this Covid down time. It's great to have something to look forward to each week with this weekly WC challenge. As usual, you give it your all and your WC cards have been beautiful. I've been taking down Christmas stuff this week and I apologize for not thanking you sooner for that nice comment on my recent card. We dodged a bullet with that nasty winter storm this weekend. Only a little bit of snow, wind and then rain. Take care Linda
