This is my sample for Mary's Color Challenge. She selected Pacific Point, Rich Razzleberry and Daffodil Delight with masculine valentine for the dessert option.
My DH loves doing jigsaw puzzles. These stamps and die are perfect for his valentine card. Using the large flat brush tip water painter pen, I did a wash of Daffodil Delight on thick Basic White cardstock and immediately blotted up the excess water. Then I stamped and die-cut the two puzzle pieces in the Rich Razzleberry and Pacific Point colors. Stamped the sentiment, layered the pieces and added a few enamel shapes.
He will really enjoy this card. The die-cuts read: Love you to pieces. Inside I wrote: It is no puzzle why I love you.
I look forward to seeing what you piece together with these terrific colors! TFL

I love how you used the colors here. The two puzzle pieces look great against that sunny yellow bg. And your inside sentiment is both clever and romantic. How fun that he loves puzzles. Perfect card for him. My hubby loves crosswords. Maybe I can use this idea for him. Thanks for the inspiration.

Awesome! The Valentine looks great in these colors, unexpected yet perfect. The puzzle pieces are excellent and love what you hand-penned inside. Clever...

Fabulous CAS valentine. This would be a great one for me to do as a valentine for my husband since we do puzzles in the winter when we have to be inside.

A perfect bg for your puzzle pieces, Diane! The little hearts on the blue piece are so cute. Wonderful sample in these colors. I love to do not only jigsaw puzzles, but also crosswords and an assortment of other types too~
