Featured Stamper honoring Leslie. Her gallery is so beautiful. I had a tough choice. This one sparked my interest for a birthday card I needed. I loved her vibrant paper, pretty colors and terrific card design.
I wanted to use this new stamp set and DSP bundle. My sweet friend loves birds, flowers and the color lavender. She is a stamper so I like to do something different and/or new for her. As a little birthday surprise, I did not attach the ribbon so she can pull it off and use it herself. I used the partial die-cutting technique to extend the length of the banner to fit the sentiment. Wink of Stella was applied to parts of the image so it glimmers like the vellum. My friend will so love this one.
Changes: colors, papers, vellum, used image in circle instead of paper, sentiment on circle in a banner; same theme and card design.
This is the first time I have used this set. My color choices came from the papers. I think I will need more Blends markers.
Thank you Leslie for sharing your wonderful cards with us and for inspiring mine today!

Oh, this is just gorgeous, Diane! Like your friend, I love birds and I love flowers so this card really speaks to me. And these colors are fabulous together. What a great idea to leave the ribbon unattached so your stamping friend can use it ~ I love this ribbon (in all the colors!)

Sweet and gorgeous and that ribbon is so pretty. How neat that the recipient can use it if she wants. Love the shimmer vellum too. Wonderful case of Leslie's beauty!
