A big congrats to Leslie, the newest Featured Stamper (FS779)! She has a wonderful gallery & I chose THIS card to case. I kept the layout & lovely color combo, but I used different images & dies, and instead of an embossed floral, I stamped mine & colored in just a bit w/ a white Prismacolor pencil.
For my card, I used a 4 part layered floral set, but stamped only 2 of the layers..the outline & the final detail layers w/ 2 colors of the teal Color Fuse set. A white pencil was used to add just a hint of white in the petals. I die cut it using one of the new mini slimline stitched dies & used one of the scallop w/ holes for the white layer. I did some resizing of the greeting layer & the bg cover die in order to make the mini slimlines fit my A2 card. More info on this on my blog.
Thanks so much for looking. It's on my blog w/ more pics & links: The Write Stuff

Gorgeous. I was just eyeing that card in Leslie's Gallery. I love your version. I really like the affect of just two parts of the floral stamp with the white shading. It works so well in this monochromatic design and your shading is perfection. Fabulous CAS and a Fabulous card.
Julie, what a beautiful case of Leslie's card. I love how you stamped the flower images with the teal ink and then colored with the white pencil. The mini cover is just the right touch to add interest with the diamond openings that allow the white to peak through. Gorgeous!
