My title comes from using the partial diecutting technique; Jennifer McGuire has several videos about that and that's what I followed. The technique is a swap I'm in and, I have to say, not sure I'll mess with it again. Kia, I love and love and love your teacup board!!!!!!! I've only ever been to one afternoon tea.
The goal was to cut a die leaving a flat piece in the middle to stamp on. Once I understood her process, I got it! The problem was AFTER I understood the process. Ya gotta remember, Jennifer is an engineer...I'm a flute player. Engineers figure things out...musicians smoke weed. Well, I never did (really!) but I think you get what I mean.
I had it all cut, chose the textured background under the die, decided to add WOS to the white heart I cut, oh no, that background wasn't sealed like I thought it was, the pink started to enter onto the white heart. I already had it assembled so I decided to save it by recutting the heart in silver. But then I got glue on it, couldn't get it off. I really don't like using liquid glue because I'm a mess (because of the weed, you know). And then the silver piece didn't line up quite right on top of the existing white so I had to try plan B. Musicians are good at faking it, that's why jazz was born. The bottom layer is a background from my stash, I don't remember what technique, I embossed it with a geometric ef. Finished it all off with my favorite color of Nuvo Drops. Not sure I should send this because of the glue blobs on the silver heart but....we'll see. It is handmade after all.

I strted with the flute and ended up on the clarinet!! You made me laugh at your write up. I understand your frustration. But it's a pretty card. Sallie told me about Elmers' spray glue ... so much better than liquid on those thin edges.
