Background: We went away for a few days and did not schedule our pet sitter since she was out of town. When we were half a country away, my husband panicked that he had accidentally locked one of the kitties in a bedroom when he closed the door. Thankfully our pet sitter returned that day, and even though she was feeling poorly and awaiting test results, she went to our home to make sure everyone was OK. I think this is an appropriate card! Can you guess who our "problem child" is?
Card tips:
I actually made the staircase using 1/4" spindles with 1/4" spacers in between. It really is not hard. Mark the back side if the base evey 1/4" and glue appropriately. Then add a banister making sure it has the same slope as the base. Decorate the banister.
Add the wallpaper. Glue the stairwell to the base over the wallpaper.
I stamped, colored and fussy cut the kitties (to match our kitties). I did the same with the presents, stockings and ornaments. I used the Lovely Labels pick a punch for the words.
Assemble the card front.
Inside the card, I cut the edge off the tree off so it appears to by laying flat on the ground. Added ornaments and the last kitty along with the big Thank You. Of course the ornaments are now hanging toward the floor.
Thanks for looking. If you like this, please leave a comment. Positive reinforcemt helps keep me posting!
