The teapotters are sending cards to Lynn this week who is missing hugging her son. Thank you Pat for the masking challenge, which totally slipped my mind when I set out to make this, lol. I embossed the front of the card base with a woodgrain e.f. and brushed frayed burlap on it. This is a 4x4" journalling card and I just sponged it and embellished it with snowflakes and bling. Added a banner strip leftover from another card and used my 1" square punch to do the ends. Doubled up the hugs and I used a glitter gloss brush on it and the snowflakes but the camera did not pick it up.

What a great snow globe ... your tiny snowflakes and bling are a great addition! Really like your woodgrain embossed kraft card base .... looks great! Lynn will enjoy that big warm hug you are sending her!

Adorable card, but I had to laugh when I read the sentiment because I'm freezing right now and seeing blues and snowflakes looks like anything but warm. LOL. But, it is certainly a card filled with the warmth of friendship. Great card.

That is a cute journalling card, beautifully dressed up with your snowflakes and bling. I like the woodgrain background too.
(I forgot to mention it in my write-up, I put an old Fiskars texture plate under my squirrel's tail, so it's sort of like pencil rubbings that we did as kids.)

Love this! It's as cute as it's beautiful! Love the wood grain BG but the snowglobe is the "star." Superb headline especially the banner at the bottom.

Love how you dressed up that journalling panel Shirl! The extra bling and snowflakes really look great in the snow globe. An other inspiration to use more of those paper pack additions that accumulate on me. :-)
