This 'galaxy' background panel has been sitting out on my work bench for at least a year. So I am using it up for the WT873 challenge this week. It also works for the VSNDECMINI of creating a galaxy a la Third Rock from the Sun.
If I remember correctly I sprinkled several colours of Brusho pigments on my craft mat and sprayed them with water. I laid the cold pressed WC paper on them and let it dry before sprinkling gesso with an old toothbrush. I then let it sit for a year but you don't have to do that part! I backed the windows of the houses die cut with scrap gold paper and stamped the sentiment and star with gold pigment ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I used a gold fine tipped pen to outline some of the roof tops. The edges of the card were also heat embossed in gold.

So glad you were able to use this pretty background - it's gorgeous. The gold highlights are great.

Oh Wow - this is a stunning background and it dried nicely over the year too - ha ha ha. Love the gold embossing around the edge. That is such a nice finishing touch.
