The teapotters are sending cards for a 100th birthday. Jen is our hostess with a roll the dice challenge and respond accordingly to the decor of the decade. Found my dice in my Monopoly board game and rolled a 7. The 70's was known for big bold wallpaper. I had some real jazzy stuff on one of the walls in my bedroom. This card is rather tame to what I had but I hope she likes it. I stamped my flower with the versamagic (just using a clear block) but stamping the centers with other ink colors did not work, so I resorted to using the dies.

Shirl, this is so much fun and definitely says 70s wallpaper to me! Just love that you achieved all that wonderful texture and dimension by adhering the flower centers and leaves on to your patterned paper! What a lovely sentiment for a lady who is celebrating her 100th!

Great card and I can see the 70's wallpaper theme evident here. Love the way you combined stamps and dies. Like Sabrina, I thought the die cut flower centers looked great and planned until I read your description. Don't you use love it when an "oops" turns into a "wow". This is Wow! Great card.
