My final Falliday! I love Falliday! Thanks to all who make it possible.
Once I decided what to do for my greeting card, the rest came together very quickly. It isn't done yet, not even close, but I did put a few things on the inside, which you'll see in the second picture.
I used an old greeting card, probably circa 1960's, that was in my Grandpa Meyer's card collection. I have no idea why he liked greeting cards but he did, big time. There was a drug store/gift store across the street from his law office and I would bet he would ask the ladies working there to set aside cards he might like. This is an Easter card for a mother; my mother is deceased so I never got a chance to give it to her but I miss her more everyday and thought this could be a tribute to her. My papers inside include old music, pages from a reference book, old documents in French, sample pieces of old wallpaper, an old envelope and a few more. Most of what I will put in will be more things from Grandpa. He must have liked paper...a lot. Hmm, apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I'm very excited to continue with this project and make more of these journals.
