I am SO IN LOVE with The Greetery's Shiplap Builder Die set (to make the wooden planks). This is my first card trying it out. Depending on the technique, it can be time-consuming but gives stunning results.
I blended multiple Distress Inks & Distress Oxide Inks on two panels of white cardstock and lightly splattered the panels with the darkest brown ink mixed with some water. Then I die cut both panels to produce 12 wooden planks total. I ran double-sided tape all over the front of my cardstock and alternated wood planks to create the background, cutting off excess pieces at the top and using them to fill in at the bottom.
I stamped the sentiment in Timber Brown StazOn, fussy cut it, and popped it up on dimensional foam tape in the card center. I stamped the greenery, fussy cut both pieces, and adhered them to alternate corners. I used Pewter Liquid Pearls for the accents in the other corners. I wanted to keep the card simple so the warm background could be visible. Thanks for looking!
