This week's Teapot Tuesday is our chance to show off what we collect by using your collection as an inspiration for your card. I collect Salt & Pepper shakers -- I try to find ones that have a touch of humor and where the two shakers are not identical, but simply related in some way The inspiration for my card is an S&P set of a kitten and a huge ball of yarn (shown on the right side of the photo). In place of kitten and yarn, the card features an inquisitive cat checking out a fishbowl. To create the scene, I used a piece of patterned paper to be wallpaper and a piece of woodgrain paper to be a table. The cat and fishbowl are fussy cut and arranged so the cat can check out the fishbowl. The corners feature paper piercing (my nod to the holes on the salt and pepper shakers.) Check out the Teapot Tuesday Forum for details about the challenge and Tickle a Teapotter exchange.

What a Unique S&P set - I'm assuming the yarn is pepper nested in the cat's (salt) paws. You have captured the essence of those shapes in your cat & fishbowl.

great hobby to have---my mother collected them from all over. Your cat is so cute and looks guilty of thinking of getting the fish, cute cat and ball of yarn set

Sweet set (and what a fun collection) and a sweet card to go with it. I like the way your round panel echoes the ball of wool shape. And you certainly get the extra cookies, too. Thanks for a great challenge, Sandy - it's been such fun seeing what people collect.

Very cute take on your salt/pepper set. My grandmother collected salt/pepper sets and had some interesting ones. Loved this challenge and getting to know each other a bit better.
