This is for Carol, our tea party recipient. I hadn't done the ABC15X for exploding card yet so I combined the two challenges. I followed a video by Lisa Curcio.
Carol likes pink so I used a fair amount. Do I have a scissors stamp? Yes, I do. Can I find it? Nope. I think someone is trying to tell me something. I did use my scissors to cut a few things and I chose a vintage lady for the front of my card. I remember the salon my grandma went to, a lady working alone in her house. Grandma's hair was quite blue.
See the other picture for the inside.

Carol, who loves and appreciates hand made cards, will be totally mesmerized by your beautiful fancy-fold card!!

I think Carol will be blown away when she opens this beautiful card and it "explodes". I love every element on this starting with that gorgeous dp and dotted velum strip. The vintage lady and your story of your grandma's hairdresser instantly brought back similar memories for me too. Awesome card.

Beautiful card. I remember the church ladies with their blue hair. My grandmother, mother and I were/are blessed with very slow-to-grey hair. At 62 my hair only has a tiny amount of grey. My grandmother was raised to believe that colouring your hair was a sin so she longed for more grey so no one would think she was vain. I, on the other hand, love my hair.

Love the elegant vellum bellyband with the nest on it. I think my hair is a bit like that sometimes, especially after being on the motorbike with DH. Anything beyond the helmet always just seems to get tangled.
